Sorry - your question doesn't make sense - ".... so you do NOT KNOW who is calling you...." ---- what on earth is THAT supposed to mean --- but I suspect that you mean "What number do I dial so that the called party doesn't know WHO'S CALLING THEM" in which case it's 141 in the UK! ! !

Do you mean the number you dial before the telephone number so that the other person doesn't know who is calling them...if so it's 141
If you don't want to know who's calling you, just don't look at the caller display!

In the UK dial 141 before the number from a landline or a mobile to stop your number being displayed.
To prevent "you" knowing who is calling, no idea.

Hi,
I assume that you are wanting to know what number to dial to find out who called you.You dial *86.And that should give you the number unless they called in such away that this information would not be given.
I would suggest that you get caller I D if you want to know who is calling you.If you have it,and the number did not come up.Than chances are you won't be able to get it.Tha's how people protect themselfs.

if you do not want to know who is calling you get rid of your caller ID or just don't look at it.
if you want to block YOUR number from other when you call them use *67 before the number.

Um, it's *67 to block somebody else from seeing your number, & it's *82 to unblock your number.
other then that, I don't believe there's a way to prevent yourself form knowing who your calling, I mean, your dialing their number, so it's impossible to keep the identity unknown..unless you close your eyes & dial randomly.

in the uk you put 141 before the number you wish to dial.

Um in australia u jus put 1831 before u type the number! and it puts it to private!
