My opinion is that they are just sad people who try to find their own identity. How should the society react towards them? I was also wondering. Have they commited a sin because they have changed their sex? but arent creaturesw of the God or not? is it theur problem that they werent born as normal persons?

Of course transsexual people are defined as men or women.
And I'm sure I'm not the only one who is slightly insulted by your implication that we are not 'normal persons', or that we are 'just sad'. Transsexualism is not a sin, or a choice, or a mental illness; It's a congenital neurological intersex condition (Benjamin's syndrome - see link below).

Society should react to us the same way as it reacts to ANYONE born with a congenital condition; we should be treated as PEOPLE, and offered the medical help necessary to correct that condition.

I feel they are normal people, they are just different, everyone is different! As far as defining them as men or woman, well i think it would depend on the individual and how they want to be defined. No I do not think they are sad people. Society should treat them the same as everyone else. If someone does not approve of them then turn your head the other way. They are people just like you and me and have feelings that can be hurt. Weather or not there lifestyle is a sin or not is not for you or me to answer, that is between God and that person. You should not be so quick to judge and consider what life has been like for that person. It has likely not been an easy road and likey was not something they choose. Keep an open mind.

Its not up to society to choose how to react to "them". They are each individuals, and if you are friends or acquainted with a transexual person then i suggest you ask them what they prefer. Most transexuals prefer to be referred to as the sex they are changing to. To refer to any person as an "it" is offensive and uncalled for. If you dont know any transexuals, then you shouldnt feel the need to label them. Religion varies with your own beliefs, but if there is a God, I dont think he'd want everyone obeying a manual for life written thousands of years ago- instead he'd just want his children to be happy.

Transexuals are genetically whatever they were born as.

From societies point of view they should be accepted as whatever they have decided to live as - I cant see there is sin in living as the opposite sex - sin is when you start using and exploiting people and harming other peoples lives.

They are born as normal people. Basically it's the same concept as getting a nose job because you don't like your nose. You change something that you were born with because you don't like it. If a man who acts as a woman prefers to be called she, I'll say she if it makes him happy.

Whatever they WANT to be called. A male to female transexual wants to be a woman, so that is how we should refer to her, and vice versa. ...Ok, it's a little confusing, but I beleive firmly in a person's right to choose their own path. We're all human, after all - that's what matters the most.

I dislike the notion of transsexual.
A man is born male and will remain that way until he dies regardless of what he has done to his body.
I have absolutely no problem with cosmetic surgery of any type, it is vanity / identity. One should be able to do as one wishes with ones own body.

However to suggest that by taking chemicals and changing ones body one can change their gender is nonsense. Men do not menstruate or carry children. Men do not have ovaries or wombs. Men have not been nurtured as girls and female.
They are still men. But if they want to dress as women, wear makeup, use the ladies WC, then fine by me.

I live were there are a larger than average number of transsexuals. They often stand out from the crowd like a sore thumb. They make a mockery of what it is to be female by taking it to an ugly extreme. But that is their choice. It does not make them female.

My bf and I were having this discussion. One because he finds them attractive and I feel that they are just confused.

I'm still in that opinion but have come lately to have a sense of humor about it.

Penis = male

Vagoo = Female

Penis + Breast = Confused

Penis + Vagoo = Natural deformity

Vagoo turned Penis = Impressive....

And I ask that no one get thier panties in a bunch because being 3 months pregnant and finding out that Trannys turn your bf on doesnt excactly keep your sense of humor in the same ball park and warping mine was just my way of dealing with it.

i would consider transexual men as women, and transexual women as men. it is the person they want to be and we should accept them as their 'new' selves. they are not sad people, maybe slightly lost, but not sad, they know who they want to be and who they are.
