IF I get a woman pregnant, and I want that child, she can look at me, laugh and say I made an appointment to take care of this situation. But if I don't want this child, she can file for child support. Women, you say its your body, well, It's my money! (For the record, I am STRONGLY against abortion and dead beat fathers, but if a woman has the right to do whatever she wants with her body, then I have the right not to pay for an unwanted child.)

Don't worry, women who kill innocent babies end up rotting in hell when they die.

This is a tough issue. It is a huge dilemma when parents don't agree about what should happen to the baby. If the woman wants it and the man doesn't, it's hard to have to either force the man to pay child support or force the woman to have an abortion. If the man wants the child and the woman doesn't, it's hard to force the woman to carry the baby (it's her body after all) but it's also it doesn't feel right to have an abortion, killing the child the man wanted.

The simplest solution is this: Don't have sex until you are ready to face the possible consequences. Don't have sex if you're not ready for children, if you haven't discussed the issue with your partner yet or if the two of you disagree about it. Contraception is not 100% safe, so don't think "it won't happen to me". You're always risking pregnancy (and STD of course as well).

If people followed this, there would be a lot fewer cases where that dilemma occurs. Naturally there are exceptions, like rape, genetic illnesses, conditions that make it unlikely that mother and/or child would survive the birth etc. But apart from such cases, people put themselves in that position of dilemma, and naturally either party will end up feeling violated on.

If a woman thinks she won't receive financial help from the father of her child, she may feel more alone and unable to cope and this may ultimately lead to yet more abortion.

But i understand what you're saying. I think everyone, male or female, should take responsibility for their offspring, and i don't like the modern attitude of 'woman's body, woman's choice.'

As i read somewhere:
If a man decides he doesn't want a child, he's known as a useless deserter.
If a woman decides not to look after her child....she's pro-choice.

Have you ever gotten a woman pregnant? It sounds like this is all hypothetical for you. So why worry about it? Also, many men don't want a child and are very relieved for their girlfriends to have an abortion. And there are women who raise a child without any help from the "father". You have these concerns so you should be very careful about birth control and who you have sex with.

I believe it should be dependant on the situation they shouldent have to pay just because they have to. Each case should be examined and looked at by the state.

Im against abortion too i read a new study recently that after a certin amount of week (i forget the number but its during the time most women get them becdause it takes them a while to realize they are preggo and then get the courage to do it or whatever) That the baby feels pain as its killed out of the tummy. Now i have seen and read alot of things ive seen Iraq was pics ive seen death and all number of other things and ok but reading that just killed me.

hmmm. i had by no potential rather concept approximately it like that. i think of (in spite of the actuality that i might desire to be incorrect right here) till the couple are married on the time of concept, the guy isn't LEGALLY required to assist the youngster financially. this is predicted of him, yet whilst he does opt to run off and abandon the youngster, there is not any longer something the mother can do criminal-smart to tension him into helping the youngster. the common public of those circumstances i've got faith ensue with issues like one-evening stands (the place the mother won't even tell the daddy with regard to the toddler, so he has no thought there is even a new child for him to assist) or uncommitted relationships - the place the unplanned being pregnant scares the daddy and so he runs away as he hasn't made an entire dedication to her. in that concern, i've got faith that according to danger the accessible behaviour of the daddy could be factored in - if he's in all danger to run away, and the female can't help the toddler by potential of herself, according to danger she could be leaning in the direction of abortion/adoption. in my opinion, i think of that if the daddy had no selection in what occurs to that tiny feotus he should not be predicted to financially help it. if he's a sturdy guy or woman, he could evaluate assisting out besides. yet whilst the female keeps the toddler basically because of the fact she desires to, ignoring regardless of the daddy says, then she could take accountability for helping it, no longer anticipate him to.

You have to pay child support because you took the chance that she could get pregnant and have the child. You knew the risks and you accepted them. Abortion should require both parents' consent because you had a hand in making the child. It's not the guy's fault that he can't carry the child.

Simple, this is not a tit for tat situation,,this is even so ridiculous to think. How can you make babies as a subject of money now, I didnt know that women can just abort without their husband's approval. I live in a country where married women are not allowed to just abort their babies like that unless very essential reasons of between life and death, or sickness, but never on financila reasons...and totally no abortion in this country but of course some are discreet and they do them without whosever approval it is..yes, if they think they can escape this world , they can;t escape up there...so don't worry about the money anymore, just as women don't worry what they do with their bodies as you said..........

no as the child is born i do think that the dad should have part say in a court if he does not want the child, as in to say,if the women wants an abortion then he may object.surly abortion is a better option than the child being dumped on care growing knowing he is not wanted and that his mum wanted rid of him. science has moved on and we can ,so we may as well accept it

i say all together...you soulda thought before you stepped. now that thats over, you pick the wrong woman if she wants an abortion. the least she could do is have the baby, hand it to you and walk away. (if only having a baby was that easy. not that ive had a child. but it sounds painful) 2nd, how can you NOT want your OWN child. its every part of you. even if its not born yet. i no this sounds corny but still. its so sad. i no you're against abortion, but this is for anyone who is that reads this. think about this. think of a child that you imagine to be your perfect child. think of you being a parent. no think of you killing that child. if that doent make you sad thin of it this way. imagine your parents killing you. plus you'd have to live with the fact that you killed a child. try tellin that to the next child you actually have. im done. bye.

P.S. im not one of those do gooders who make sighs and stuff. i just strongly believe that abortion it bad. very bad.

No. The rights of the biological father to decide the fate of the child end when he has sex with the mother. It's not fair, you may not like it, but only women can have children, and men cannot dictate to them which pregnancies to keep and which to abort.

Society's need to make sure that mothers and their children stay off of the welfare rolls and receive adequate support is more important than your "right" to decide which children you wish to support and which you do not.
