This is a question which every aspirant would have before taking up a correspondence or distance learning course..

So did I... So do my juniors who contact me for suggestions...
And now I have my PGDBA completed...

There are some aspects which should be considered...

Are U already employed ?
Can you afford to take a break from ur job?(No earnings for some time) and will have to go through the Job search procedure all over again.

Anytime, Full time courses are most preferred ..
In fact there are some companies who explicitly mention that they would not consider Distance Learning PG's during recruitment.

Unless U have a situation where U do not want to leave your job but still are passionate about having a PG, do not go for these courses..

Especially if You are unemployed . This is not the option...

Yes.Definitely There is value for the Universities conducting them and not for the students who are availing the courses.There may be very few exceptions.

Knowledge-wise yes. But from a career point of view not much unless your organisation is very supportive.
