I watch every World Series. History is made right before my eyes. It's great. A lot of 'fans' bow out but they aren't baseball fans. They're 'hey dig me' ephemeral opportunists who don't like anything, really, unless they can win. The Series is about the 2 best teams -- having done what all teams had the opportunity to do -- deciding this year's best team. Baseball fans will be watching. I'm not sure what the proper name for those who don't watch is, but they sure aren't baseball fans.

I am.. I Iove the Tribe and the Rockies are just fun to watch. Its supposed to be about Baseball not the Nielson ratings...and I think its going to be a fun series to watch. The most fun series I ever saw was the Braves Twins in 1991...neither a big market team..that was fun and great baseball...take it for what it is...its the World Series...and its not the Yankee game of the week for October...my bet..its gonna be a good series!!

If you aren't willing to watch the world series, then if someone asks you if you are a baseball fan, you really should say no.

There will be no difference in the quality of the game, just how it's rated by others and if you want to be lumped in with the small mindedness of 'popularity' baseball doesn't need ya.

It will be a great series, excitement.

I'll be watching. It's not written in stone yet but it's sure looking likely. The ratings will probably be awful but who cares? It'd still be a good series.

It's funny when "fans" (and I say that loosely) complain about who is playing in a championship series. How can something be boring even before it is played? Real fans love the sport and love watching good games and I am sorry it will be a good matchup.

But I am sure when something special happens you will be there to say you watched it.

I will. I'm a Yankees fan but it is nice to see someone different. Could care less about ratings. I think they are flawed anyways.
