My parent are more of the type that don't reveal their feelings so I never really hear those words though their actions do say that they love me..... As for my kids, I say to them everyday.. coz I know how it feels like not hearing them...( It sucks )

My Daddy who I idolized never actually said the words I Love You to me...he died very tragically 12 years ago, and that is the one thing I always wanted to hear. He did although show his love to me many times, and I know in my heart that he did love me. I have three children, and I tell them all the time I love them and how much they mean to me. I don't ever want them to know the sadness of not hearing those words from a parent.

Yes, to both questions. I'm 52; my parents are 79 and 82, and my son is 26. I have ALWAYS made it a point to say "I love you" to my son at LEAST every time I talk to him on the phone, and every time I see him, especially now that I live 1500 miles from him. My parents and I went through a time when it felt awkward to say it, but my dad and I do say it again now. My mom still has trouble saying "I love you," but I say it to her even so; there's no doubt in my mind that she feels it and just has trouble expressing it due to some issues in her life.

Actually I can't remember being told that and yes I do tell and show my son all the time that I love him. My mother (who was a single parent until I was about 6-7) did her best in the situation she was in and I'm thankful for all she's done.

they're meant to. A loving parent, or father and mom, shouldn't in any respect %. favorites between their little ones. there'll constantly be conflict and opposition between them. this might have a devastating result on the single that feels enjoyed the least. Take it from me. i grew to become into made to sense like the outcast and it overwhelmed my self-properly worth for years. I even went for scientific care because of the fact of it. fortuitously i got here across my self properly worth; love, and comprehend. many don't, and a few fall into issues of their existence they in no way dreamed they could, because of the fact of it. issues like drugs; crime, etc. yet once you sense this way, please do no longer use any of those examples as your out-enable. confer with kin, or hit upon a mentor you could have confidence. Love YOU if no person else shows you any.

Dear Friend

My children are infact my love, my passion and even my world. I feel no shame in saying them I LOVE YOU. MY elder son is of 15 yrs. old. I not only say these magic words to him but even kiss him. I found these magic words really spreading their magic. If you want to feel this magic do something so impressive that your parents can not control themselves without kissing you.

My beloved father used to say many times a day and my dear mother always smiled at that, never expressed in words.

My parents never did and never hugged us either. I think thats why we dont show love to each other now.(siblings)
But I make a point of saying and showing my love to my son whenever I can cuz I think its important.
