I only remember all the bad things that happened to me..raped @ 10 was one of them and it still haunts me 48 years on!!

Even when I was far younger, I remembered very little about my childhood. I know it was a happy one. We had very little money, but Mom and Dad tried to make things better. My sister and I learned to go without and to not want a lot of extras. But, I remember so few things. I think perhaps it was because I was so ill so much, close to death more than once. I vaguely remember hospitals and all of the surgeries~which likely is why we didn't have much money.
I'll have to read the other replies to see if others have such scant memories of childhood. I always wondered why I couldn't remember, but perhaps it's part of ADHD.

I seem to be able to remember a lot as compared to many people. I was surprised to learn that plenty of people don't remember much before they were in school, whereas I remember many things back to the age of about three. Why that should be, I don't know, but I definitely remember to that age, and even a few bits and pieces from age two.

Not everything. But I can remember some things all the way back to age two or maybe even a little younger. My parents are surprised that I can remember the things I do.

Yes I remember everything since I was 1 or 2 years old!And when I tell my friends that I remember everyth even if I was so young they don't believe me!Once my mom told me about sth that happened to me when I was 1,5 years old and she thought that I didn't remember anything.And I interrupted her and started telling the whole story with details and she couldn't believe it.She said "How do u remember that u were only 1,5?"...ya..there isn't an explanation..anyway that day I told her also other things that I still remember and she was speechless!lol

A good deal...I can't say I remember everyrthing, I don't remember what I wore July 17, 1968; or what I had for breakfast Dec 6, 1972...I'm in total awe of those that remember EVERYTHING!
