I have an odd question? I was wondering what Coast illinois would be Considered?

Illinois is east of the Mississippi river which is the dividing line so it would be east coast but that's stretching it.

I believe Illinois is considered the Midwest, although since I grew up in California, it's pretty much all East to me. Really it isn't either coast.

Great Lakes Coast or Lake Michigan Coast.
