Gore would be an ideal fit, but would he do it?
Clinton has an agenda, and just like Kennedy needed Lyndon Johnson as President of the Senate to ramrod his reforms she needs a smart operator who has the experience to get it done. Gore is just that, with all the experience she could possibly ask for.
She could offer him a mandate to deal with the climate change issue, and it would make him the longest serving Vice President in history, but I think he would not be willing.
Obama has not got that experience, and can bring nothing to the ticket that Clinton will not have already. He also has race working against him, as the ticket needs to appear balanced and sound. With a woman running for the first time a black might be perceived as too much at once.
Edwards will not be considered. He cannot deliver his own state.

Bill Clinton, cos he'll do that anyway!
Seriously though Obama brings new talent and outlook, a new face, team and direction. Al Gore is doing good work anyway. I'd keep Al in reserve for the election after this one. He can get more work done outside, he's youngish so there's time for a Gore presidency. He'll look more substantial in a few years time

It's a slam-dunk...Obama. The primaries are only window-dressing. Ever wonder why none of her "opponents" actually pinned her ears back during the debates? She is a very powerful (and vengeful) individual. When "Slick Willie" was prez he had this nasty habit of having people that disagreed with him audited by the IRS. Now that's power (not to mention creative use of taxpayers money)! Don't begin to think she will be above doing this as well. By the way, are they both still disbarred from law practice in their home state?

Shrillary would be doing the country a favor to declare herself an immigrant to Mars, and take that envirowhacko Gore with her. Of course, the Martians would probably send her 3 orbits past Saturn, she'd be right at home there !

From your choices, I would say that Gore would make an excellent choice.
