They have a grade a RB, a promising QB, slowly gelling O line, a solid D.....I just think they're building what will become a really competitive team that might actually challenge some top AFC teams next year or the following year. They look pretty promising, I think.

Anyone else agree or am I just reading too much into it?

i think they are great really making their mark. I know Dallas were a bit cack when we played them but I think they have worked really hard. i reckon Marshawn will do us proud. But we have a habit of giving away good players, and we had some hard games last couple, hopefully these next few games we can show em !

Oh, they had all of that before the season. What kills us is incompetent coaching. What else is new? What....you don't believe me? Let's review...

Game 1: 3rd&5 late in the game. We have the ball, clock is running down. Denver needs a field goal to win. You might think we'd run the ball in this situation, right? Well, no. Apparently, this is the perfect time to call a bomb to Edwards. And, surprise surprise, it fell incomplete. How shocking! Denver kicks the winning field goal as time expires.

Game 2: We spend nearly the entire game running a horribly vanilla offense...at least until we're down 26 points. When Fairchild actually starts calling some passes over five yards, we, surprise, surprise!, move the ball well and put up our only points of the afternoon. Then we go right back to vanilla and finish losing by 23. After the game, Losman criticizes Fairchild and says "we need to open up the playbook." Later in the week, Lee Evans and numerous other players on offense back him up.

Game 3: Losman gets hurt practically the first play. Edwards comes in, and Fairchild calls all this stuff we've never seen before. But then it's back to vanilla and we finish with 7 points.

Game 4: Fairchild opens the playbook against the Jets, just like he does against every crappy team. We manage an anemic seventeen points and barely hang on in the end.

Game 5: This should be extremely obvious to anyone who watched, but our offense ran an ultra-conservative game plan and put up an inexcusable three points, and none of them came from the four turnovers. Furthermore, down in the redzone, up by 11, a pass is called. Our rookie QB drops back and throws a pass! What happens? No wai, it was INTERCEPTED. If we had just run the ball and taken the field goal....and, on the Cowboy's last two possessions, Fewell called off the pressure that had been wrecking Romo and went into a middle deep zone, leaving the sidelines completely undefended. In Fewell's defense, he realizes that he made a terrible mistake, a mistake which he has apologized for. As for DJ and Fairchild, they insist on blaming solely the players.

If we had a coaching staff worth a damn, we'd be, minimum, 3-2 right now.

Their legacy will be destroying the chemistry of the team through an artificial QB controversy, and thus destroying our prospect of reaching the play-offs any time in the next three years or so...

This team has potential certainly. Young cover corners. An agile run D. They play like Indy. Eliminate the pass, and use speed to gang tackle the run for as little yardage as possible. If they get a potent fs, ss to fill that speed run stopper role like a bob sanders. this D is most certainly in contention.
As far the offense. I must say I'm not sold on Lynch. He's good, He's not Adrian.
Edwards though. He is the best rookie qb that i have -seen- play. All season. Period. He managed that Monday night game like an elite qb in this leauge should.
Give this team 3-5 years, and they will have a D who can hold down tough division teams like the pats. Once you can accomplish that, It's only a matter of scoring with them.
Indy has figured out ways to dismantle these powerful afc teams. It can be done.
your team is young. Hang with them, and they should start to produce.

thoroughly agree. immediately's athletes are all extra desirable/swifter/better than the day previous's athletes in any game. the excellent thank you to verify this is to catch an ESPN classic replay of any NBA game interior the 80's. each participant is skinny as hell. Steroid scandal aside, an analogous is genuine for baseball. even however, you ought to verify skills. If those 70's Steelers, or 60's Packers communities performed immediately, they might have get admission to to quickly's technology/technologies/scientific breakthroughs/nutritionists/and so forth. in simple terms think of roughly if Dick Butkus or advise Joe eco-friendly or Jack Lambert had 24/7 get admission to to the burden room three hundred and sixty 5 days around like immediately's athlete's do. you ought to take excitement of their skills, after which you would be able to think of what they could be in immediately's league. yet confident, as is, in case you had a magic wand and a time device, the 08 Pats (and specific even the 08 Dolphins) might in simple terms overpower ANY team from the 60's or 70's, great or no longer, in simple terms with actual length/potential and conditioning.

They are on the right path. If they do well in the next 2 drafts it might be enough to get them back to winning. They need some major additions to the defense.....Glenn Dorsey from LSU would be a great choice if they can grab him in the first round. There is lots of potential on both sides of the ball. They just need to be smart in the draft and lucky with a couple of free agents and they can become a pretty good team in the next year or two.

Yes. With Jim Kelley at QB, Thurman Thomas at RB, a great recieving corps led by Andre Reed and a defense anchored by Bruce Smith, they have the young talent to lead them to several Super Bowls.

Sorry, I'm still grumpy about last monday night. Actually, they do have a lot of young talent, and I think you may be right, but it will require a better coaching staff than they currently have.

the bills are a good young team but they are about 2 drafts away from the play-offs and being in the same div as the pats will not help. but being in the same div as the dolphins and jets will

the bills need another WR, a good TE and still more help on defense.

I do, and I'm a Patriot fan. They are in my division, and after the Dallas game, I must admit they scare me. I agree with you on next year, or maybe even this year. Who knows?
They definately look good. Good luck with your team.
