It doesn't matter much one way or another, unless the son doesn't have insurance. If he's got insurance, the person will sue kid or parent and in the end, it will be the insurance company who will duke it out.

If the kid doesn't have insurance, probably Hulk should get sued since the kid is a minor and Hulk's responsible for him.

Perhaps, since he provides his irresponsible son with several souped-up expensive sports cars and has spoiled him rotten his entire life to the point the kid thinks he can do whatever he wants with no consequences. But then again, Nick may be just old enough to be tried as an adult and be sued himself. Nick should have to provide his friend with financial help of some kind. He has altered his friends life indefinitely due to his need to show off. It is Nick's fault ultimately, but his lavish lifestyle and upbringing is the underlying cause, in my opinion.

He had nothing to do with it. His son has a mind of his own and should be made to deal with the consequences of his own actions...
Seen that crash comin' from a mile away (figuratively speaking)..
In my state, at age 17 you can do what you want without your parents' permission. So his age doesn't really have anything to do with it, nor does the fact that he was spoiled as a kid........

Why should he be held liable for what some else did? A parent should not be punished for their child's mistakes when the child is capable of his own reason and judgment. What did Mr. Hogan do? He wasn't in the car.

Why, would he get sued for something his son did. Would you like your parents to be sued for something stupid you may have done?

No, because his son should take more responsibility when he drives.

And, plus, it probably wasn't his son's car that he was driving in.
