Please check out the best answer for the Q.

Is this not just the most classic case of 'Give 'em enough rope and they'll hang themselves"?

Havn't you gotta just love someone this arrogant - and yet - sadly - quite vulnerable.

If you read this Sherryn - and please take this with the sincerity with which it is sent - just re-read what respondents said and your reply to them.

Do you think that a tad of humility might just be the greater defence of your high ideals. Or are you REALLY REALLY sure that you have it right - and the rest of us are all going to learn from you? Are you sure that your teacher had it so right? Are you sure that your artistry is so much greater than the life experiences of all the people here. Not just mine - obviously - in your opinion I have crawled out from under a rock. Any time you want to compare rocks sweet child - call me! But come with better material than you have so far - or get ready for some humility - big style!

Yes, I did answer it. I just checked in my profile under questions I'd answered a day ago to see which response was chosen as best answer. I'd seen that answer last night when I was checking back to see other people's input, on questions I'd answered.

I'm afraid there are people that never see beyond what they want or think. Sometimes I wish I had more confidence and thought a little more of my input on things, but when I read something such as this, I guess some humility is a gift and not such a bad thing after all...

Definitely a fringe view. I was watching a presentation at the University of Washington last night (I live just outside Seattle), and according to the statistics cited during the lecture, the numbers of people who consider the environment/global warming an important matter was placed at roughly 80%.

I have a feeling the lass didn't like my response to her response to my question. She went on a ways about how rude I and my question were, and I very innocently told her "dinna fash yourself, lass, no one means you harm."

(Honestly, I don't really know what it means, but the context I've read it in, I thought it meant something like "Don't fret," and that's how I meant it.)

My q. got v'd.

Had to go check, 'cause couldn't remember whether I responded or not...no, I didn't...mainly because I am trying to stay out of the 'fray' so to speak ;-)

This is truly a battle of the will IMHO; regardless of what is 'truth' or not - as is usually my way of dealing with stuff like this I always recommend that ignoring works best, but then who am I...? LOL

Yes, there are guidelines on Y! and most of us break them...lol I really don't have a major issue with that...got bigger more worrisome things on my proverbial plate - but such is life, even in the fast lane of the slow senior interstate! :-)

Yes I did and I think she is still very arrogant,
what a pity I wonder if she has any friends, and yet somehow I very much doubt it.
