It was a very hot summer day when I was going to Dhamtari. Some 7 kilometers earlier, the bus developed a glitch and stopped. All passengers had no alternative but to walk 7 kms. They all alighted and being of younger age, walked away rapidly. I followed them slowly. In my mind,I was thinking that if I could spare some time, I will visit an old friend named Nemichand, whom I have not met for the last 20 years. He lived at Dhamtari.The sun was burning very hot and I was walking slowly engrossed in thoughts of Nemichand.Suddenly, I heard someone calling me by name. For a few seconds, I could not understand as to how anyone can call me in this isolated area.I turned around and was stunned to find , it was my old friend Nemichand , who stopped his car on seeing me walking alone . His sudden arrival appeared like a dream/mirage for few moments,but it was true.
