there's only been one time where i was blinded. i thought i changed for the good. my past was just that and nothing more. but, that came crashing down fast. i had a huge wake up call and i haven't been able to pick myself back up. i would much rather be blind than depressed and unhappy. but, my temporary fixes will do for the time being. they do distract me some.
edit to add- wow, i read the question all wrong. oh yeah, i'm completely blinded. that's a norm for me. there's a lot of things i should have done. but, i was too ashamed. i let several opportunities pass me by. it's my fault and i do take responsibility for them. a lot of these things cause me guilt.

I was once blinded by too much love, now I try to be aware and have my presence of mind

I worry that I have become so overprotective of my heart that I have or will have missed that chance that I should have taken!! That's why I'm always working on fixing myself!!

i am always blind... if i want to be blind i close my eyes.....they are always closed

nope, i am wide awake, i can see the oppotunity right in front of me, slowly im taking small steps towards it.
