I have found when dealing with a problem/concern regarding Carnival, it is extremely difficult to get questions answered or problems solved. In reading blogs and passenger comments, it seems to be the norm rather than the exception. As with anything, problems arise. I have written, called only to get voice mail with no returned calls and emailed. What is the answer to resolving issues and problems at Carnival. Is no one accessible in mangement?

A company like that is going to shield their upper management from the public, otherwise they would spend all their time dealing with complaints like "house keeping didn't leave any shampoo in my room" or " the chicken didn't taste good on Friday night".

What you should do is call their customer service center and file a complaint. If the complaint isn't resolved in a timely fashion, call back and ask to speak to a supervisor. If the supervisor doesn't resolve the problem, call back and ask to speak to the supervisor's boss. And just keep working your way up the food chain until you get results. Make sure you take down everyone's name and the date/time of your call. Being persistent is the the only way to get results because they know they can't just make you go away.

I would say forget about it. Think about it, you asking those who are responsible for the problem to correct it. Like you said that is the norm.
If you have a real problem, take some further action, if not just drop it. I am not commenting on the right-wrong aspect of the situation, just why waste your time. In most of these cases peoplel complain to granny, bore co-workers to tears telling the same story over and over, or sit on the phone for hours wasting time with a customer service rep who in NO WAY can resolve the problem.
Write a few letters, then when those are ignored, move on.
