Photography. I always look for the different way the different angles - anything to be creative and different.

Hey - I am into making stuff with paper too. I especially love origami. I even make my own dyed, coloured, or printed paper at home for my origami. So... we both can be dorks together.

I play the bowed psaltery.
I make collages from clippings out of catalogs I receive in the mail. Usually, I decorate envelopes for the letters I write to penfriends throughout the world. Several years ago, the night before I was to have surgery, I stayed up and collaged my psaltery case! I then laminated the whole thing with mailing tape from Wal-Mart. The case still is in great shape!
I handpiece crazy quilt-type long skirts to wear at Renaissance faires and other reenactment events.
I bead scarves and other apparel and also make bead jewelry.
I make elaborate belts from glass beads and other findings to be worn over dresses and skirts. I suppose men could wear them with their garb, too.
I sketch and write stories, poetry and non-fiction/research works.
I, too, make greeting cards, combining some computer work but mostly with stickers, temporary tattoos, ribbons and other items. I also design stickers and address labels to be used in correspondence. You're not a dork! A lot of people do this! As for scrapbooking, I did things like that decades before there was such a term. Around here, we have several very large stores that cater to people who do this.

I've had sketches and a co-written story published in various zines and fanzines.

Hooray for pay! It can't be dorky if you're making money with it, can it? I saw a segment one day about a girl who has her own greeting card business. That's where Hallmark started, out of a shoebox kept under his bed!

I used to draw. I've written fictional/fantasy stories, which were never finished, I will eventually get back to it. I love poetry, I have a few published. But I haven't written poetry in a while because I don't have anything in mind or in heart to write about, so I've come up with an idea to take words from my dream logs and create a poem from that.

And your not a dork, that's a very creative thing to do! And you get paid for it!

I write poems, stories and I draw. I also knit and am learning to sew. Also I would say cooking as well, as creativity in the kitchen is important in my book.

Although no one pays me for any of this, I enjoy it immensely. And I'm not a dork like you though... I'm a nerd, I just can not get enough of Manga :)

lol
Cheers!

When I get the chance, I like to play around with creative writing (short stories and poems), I also paint but my favorite thing to do is tattoo designing, have been doing for about 5 years and I love the creativity (not just because I occasionally sell them) and the expression that you can put into them.

i used to do that when I was a child/teenager and gave them to my mom for special occasions or just because. I read alot and write in my journal poetry and thoughts. I use my journal to jot down little bits that other people use that touch me in my heart, make me laugh, cry, and just plain think about things.

It is a good way to keep a history of what happens that is of interest on a daily basis. I also keep a prayer journal inside my journal of family members, friends, strangers that request prayers and so on. Keeps you level headed to pray for someone else. Anyways, hope you like this idea.

I design clothing, wardrobes, quilts, dolls and textile arts. I also write, draw and create instructional pieces for people to use. I am also a science geek, which may be worse than a dork.

I scrapbook, too. I started with my son's baby book, and I was hooked. I enjoy drawing and painting. And, I absolutely love to write. I also carry my camera with me everywhere I go so I can take pix of everything that interests me.
