does the wii have any good violent games?
like halo, etc....

lol, of course not. the wii is for everyone (that's why they called it the wii as in "we")! From young to old, the Wii provides fun for all ages. I have one and I'm 15 (turning 16 soon). I dont care what anyone says, and anyway, if it was, who cares? Does it matter if you like so-called "kids" games? As long as the games are fun, it doesn't matter what games you play. Don't let anyone push you to buy a game that you might not like. And yes, the Wii has a few violent games. Resident Evil, Manhunt, and many more on the way! Good luck and I hope this helped you! P.S. Sadly, there will be no Halo for the Nintendo Wii. If you haven't noticed, Halo has been exclusively for the Xbox only. Microsoft and Nintendo would never partnership on that....

In fact yeah, Resident Evil 4: Wii Edition, Manhunt 2, The Godfather, Tom Clancy's Splinter Cell: Double Agent. Those are all rated M games.

Yes the Wii is for kids, and older people and regular gamers too. There are plenty of violent games out and more coming as well as games of every other genre.
Its a really fun sysem, and for 250 bucks a good bargain too.

the wii is sorta suppose to be a family thing.
they don't have the violent games out yet there currently making kingdom hearts wii game but halo i don't know about

I got a Wii and a 360, and trust me i LOVE the 360 , Wii is for kids, its not family or any of the crap Nintendo has stated in their articles, Wii has just been a success for its interface and player consoles..(Which you will really get bored off.)
Wii sold over alot , caz "ppl" as Nintendo calls them (but they are really 1-8 year old kids) want Mario, and lets be honest you dont really like Mario!
So get a 360 , im not forcing you here, im just giving you advice, as Nintendo only has kiddy production game companies that make Mario and Zelda LOL.

No, it's not just for kids. there are some great games that adults will enjoy like Resident Evil and Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess.
