Act flattered and laugh at them! Make it a joke, no one gets embarrassed, no one is hurt, and you walk away a champ! Flirting is a part of life, but it needn't be a serious part of life. Good luck and peace, Goldwing

Your not real descriptive of the situation but, if someone is flirting from across a room, don't smile and avoid eye contact. Don't do anything that may seem encouraging. Act very non chalant toward them. If you give no responses at all there is nothing to keep going with.
If the person is doing this in conversation or up close and personal, keep talking about your wife. Make comparrisons of her and say things like oh my wife says....... and my wife and she's quite brillant, cute to, does this.......... Its telling her your very much married to your wife.
Someone interested would not speak of there spouse unless it was in a negitive way. Speaking in the negitive opens a door for them to compete. If you make it clear you already have best, that leaves little room for invasion. BE PERSISTANT.
If they still don't get it be direct. Say look I am married and that represents something to me. I am not interested in breaking my vows nor do I promote anyone else doing so. So if your going to persist someone does would you please try a different someone.

I have the same, only in reverse. I am not very nice if the person doesn't take no and go away. Some married people don't think flirting is that big a deal. If it goes beyond a little flirting a little just for fun, get rid of that person. No good can come from that.

I'm a Gemini. We pine and die if we don't flirt. So, I'd flirt back and keep it too outrageous to be taken seriously.
That's what karaoke and the Polls and surveys section here are about for me. Getting to flirt with hot women without any real stakes on the table. It's more fun when my GF is present and some ladies who come on strong when she's there are only frieindly when she's not. It's a safety net for both of us.
There have been a couple of times when I felt it necessary to explain that the woman I'm with wanted me at a time when I'd stopped believing any woman could--and that buys a lot of loyalty.
But, mostly it's just teasing and everyone involved understands that. People like to be reminded that they're attractive.

Cut off any communication with the person, its ridiculous if people flirt like that they shouldnt be married, no one forces you to get married !

Oh the nerve of some people.... you should have her drawn and quartered! Put her in the stocks! Stick a big far A on her chest like they did a couple of centuries ago.
Did she tell you she was married (was she honest with you?)or did you have to find out on your own (did he walk in on you two)?

Make it very clear that you are not interested and tell the person to stop immediately.
Good for you not wanting to be involved!
Way to go!!!

Don't let yourself be alone with this person. Is she a friend? If she is, then just be clear that friendship is all you want. If she is not your friend then just stay away from her period.
