There are quite a few foods that are high in calories.
Usually these are also high in sugar.
Sugar comes in all sorts of sneaky names,
such as high fructose corn syrup,
dextrose,
sucrose,
pretty much anything that has the "ose"
on the end is going to be a sugar product.
But sugar is not the culprit,
when you are worried about gaining weight.
The true villain is carbohydrates,
because how they are metabolized into the body.
First they are a starch,
then they change into a sugar
and after the body uses up the sugar
that it needs (glucose),
then it changes the food source again
and stores this in the body as fat.
Sugar is a carbohydrate as well, not just starches.
Krispy Kreme filled Doughnuts
are probably one of the highest calorie items
out there. It has sugar on the outside,
and Bavarian cream on the inside
( powdered sugar and softened shortening & a little bit of flavoring),
and a delicious piece of sweet yeast roll all around the cream.
Very Yummy & very, very, fattening.

Well most fried foods so a Krispy Kreme doughnut has to top the list. Stangely enough an avocado has a great deal of calories in it as well so I guess for those who like to make dip out of them that isn't great, I think it's high in fat as well.
