Capitalism WAS bad because the only motivating factor was to accumulate wealth. Today, it is no longer exactly like that. People still go after money and other material things, but there is also so much knowledge and information about the real nature of humans, which now make capitalists realize that these things are not everything. They now know that these things don't necessarily make you happy or happier than those without them. The result is what you hear now pactised in the corparate world namely empowerment, good corporate citizen, social responsibillty, environmental responsibility and so many other programs. These are usually carried out by corporations just to reach out to others. People now have opportunities to live fulfilled and fulfilling life in their work places because capitalism has become a lot more transformed. Communism collapsed because it was incapable of adapting itself to the ever changing world. On the other hand, capitalism is adaptable; it takes up criticisms from its adversaries in good faith and takes what is true and finds a way to change. With this, capitalism will still go a long way.

That is a funny way of putting it, only people who do think that it is a bad system can answer you honestly. And that gives you only one point of view. The truth is that no system is, or can be, perfect. It can look good on paper, it can even work really well on scale models, but sooner or later the human element comes into play, and thats were it gets tricky. By nature, we are still basically hunter gatherers, and we will always look to our own needs first, and to the needs of others secondly. In it's imperfect form capitalism seems to work best simply because it forces us to consider the welfare of others as a part of getting ahead ourselves. Basically, I want everyone around me to be healthy enough to work for me, to earn money, to buy my products, etc. They want me healthy so that I will make the stuff that they need, and to employ them, etc. Until something better comes along, and I sincerely hope you young people come up with something(we tried, but couldn't), we have to make the best of what we have.

Every system has it good and bad points. No system is perfect in its pure form, the best models are blends.

On the whole, capitalism is good because it rewards effort and acheivement. The downside is the concentration of power in the hands of too few resulting in monopolistic practices and cronyism. It also has the drawback of not being able to police itself, hence the need for regulation.

Get rich quick schemes in the capitalist business world, (buyouts, IPOs, conglomerates, acquisitions, mergers, and the stock market), do not actually work. Remaining solvent does not actually exist within false economics capitalism.

Profit existing in the capitalist business world, or millionaires existing within capitalism, is pathological deception committed by the 21 organizations spying on the population with plain clothes agents, (with covert fake names and fake backgrounds).

Actual economics is the persons paying the monthly business loan payments of companies voting at work in order to control the property they are paying for.

Capitalism is the psychology of imaginary parents, false economics, and the criminal deception of employees that are paying the bills (including the stocks and bonds, or shares) of companies.

Anti-democracy republicanism is the psychology of imaginary parents and false government.

When on company or group of people control too much they hurt the people, by forcing the people to pay more. Deception in products is a way of life for americans,,,, ever bought a piece of crap something,,,, that broke when you got home,,,,

the worst one is that it encourages competition amongst people rather than unity,,,, it unites the corps but divides the people....

competition should be encouraged from science and good deeds helping humanity,,, not for money....

i do not have the energy to go over all of the reasons....

I don't know that it is bad - but it sure is slow. If you are King or Queen, or a dictator, you see something that needs changing - you can change it right now.

If you want to make change through capitalism - you have to gather support at the 'grassroots' (the lowest levels like you and me) or the worker level. Then you challenge the leadership - who may or may not even listen.

In capitalism business is the best and government is bad -
that is not necessarily true - business doesn't want to build fire stations and freeways. So you need to have both.

hope this helps

Who says it is a bad system? Communists? Fascists? Socialists? Check those out where they are in place before you say Capitalism is a bad system. There are bad people in capitalist societies to be sure but do you think all the others are functioning under divine guidance? It is the best sytem currently functioning in the world.

It's a good idea in theory, as is communism, but so far I don't think there's one single political system that really works, mostly because of corrupt and power-hungry politicians making it work for them.

There's nothing wrong with capitalism; its the corrupt and greedy empowered people within a capitalist structure that screw up the works.
