If this is true... who cares!! Personally, I believe this story, even though it may be true, is just propaganda trying to cause obama problems. Up to this point Obama seems like a respected African American man. The Republicans are trying to strip away his support of the African american population. They think if they can make him more white, he will lose votes. I don't like this story and I smell a rat. I just hope the average American is smart enough to vote for Obama based on his actions and words and not based on him being related to Cheney a rich white guy who everyone doesnt care too much for at the moment. Eighth cousin? Who cares!! It's stupid that this story even came up. Obama is a better person than Cheney regardless if they are related... period.

They're related the same way Al Sharpton and Strom Thurmond are related. Cheney's great grandfather probably raped one of his black slaves, but such details aren't discussed at Mrs. Cheney's tea parties.
