We are a couple 29 years old, going to Disney next December for 5 days. Will magic kingdom be interesting for us ? or we better do the other 3 theme parks and spend the last 2 days in Universal studios ?

Generally speaking yes. Magic Kingdom is geared more towards kids, that being said, it is something you must experience at least once in your life. Magic Kingdom is a combination of all the years of the Disney experience all balled up into one place. If nostalgic childhood memories don't float your boat, then probably a couple days at Universal Orlando would be your better bet, there's lots of action there. But here's a list of some of the less kiddy rides at the Magic Kingdom:

The Hall of Presidents, Liberty Square Riverboat, Tom Sawyer Island, Country Bear Jamboree, Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade, Swiss Family Treehouse, Magic Carpets of Aladdin, Jungle Cruise, Mickey’s PhilharMagic, Snow White’s Scary Adventures, Cinderella’s Golden Carousel, Tomorrowland Indy Speedway, Astro Orbiter, Tomorrowland Transit Authority and Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress round out the great attractions at Disney’s Magic Kingdom.

Magic Kingdom Annual Events:
Seasonal events at Disney’s Magic Kingdom include the Night of Joy celebration of contemporary Christian music in September, Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party throughout October and Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party in November and December. Disney’s Magic Kingdom is open daily but has seasonal hours, so it is always best to check ahead before visiting.

Here's the entire list of attractions at the Magic Kingdom (astersiks are less kiddy rides - in my opinion):

The site also has videos of some of the rides so you can have a look before you leap.

Hope this helps.

Disney World is amazing. Magic Kingdom helps us all to discover the child within. I think that it is a must do as a person on Planet Earth.

That being said, spend the last half of the day there. Just roam around, and enjoy the sights, the theming, and some of the attractions.

At night you will want to see Spectromagic the night time parade, and then Wishes the firework show. Wishes is very romantic and with the castle setting, the lights on Main Street USA, it is a perfect moment to steal a kiss, and be engulfed by the Disney Magic!

Adult Disney fans will have a great time at the Magic Kingdom in DisneyWorld Florida--espicially if they visited the park back when they were kids themselves. Impressive is the pride and attention to detail by the staff to each day carry out the wishes of Walt Disney--and give park guests their money's worth.

Universal's whiz-bang cool super-rides and attractions do offer Disney some competetion--and MGM is a must for movie buffs and fans of Hollywood's golden age.

Magic Kingdom is for everyone, yes there are some boring rides, but for the most part when you get there you feel like a kid again. One ride I would avoid though is its a small world. oh my god that ride is annoying. but i personally don't like Epcot too much as everyone else suggested. I think its boring, yes there are a few good rides, like soarin (amazing) and mission space and test track are pretty good, i would suggest animal kingdom if you love animals, plus they have the newest ride Everest which is a really good coaster. MGM is good for 2 rides tower of terror and rockin roller coaster, other than that i find it pretty boring. i would recommend doing a park hopper. you can do MGM and Epcot in a day, and do animal kingdom for a few hours and then spend the rest of the time at the magic kingdom, also try and stay on property at Disney, free transportation, plus other perks. also i would recommend getting fast passes for most of the popular rides, they come in handy. good luck and have fun.

If you are too old for Magic Kingdom, God Bless you. I am 48 and love the place. All the parks really. Universal Studios is great but it is more for the preteen and teen crowd.

No way! Disney World is for everyone! Anybody who thinks its just for kids is dead wrong! Disney World is like an alter world seriously. Its so perfect. The mainstreet at the entrance, the dark rides, and the cast members are great! Trust me go to Disney! You wont regret it! Its really very addicting. I have been going since I was 3 and 23 years later I am still going. I try to go at least once a year. Once you go you get it.

Have fun!

Magic Kingdom is worth a visit and if you like rides Everest is a must. There is also a 'safari' ride there.

You could probably do it in half a day then get one of the many forms of transport (free) to another park.

Have a great time.

Depends on how much of a kid at heart you are. I thought it was pretty cool but not near as interesting as Epcot. There are lots of kiddie rides at MK but some that adults can enjoy too. One of my 20-something friends thinks everything at Disney is awesome and loves all the characters that are dressed up around the park, so it really just depends on what you like.

There is enough to do that I dont think you would be bored, and I think everybody should go at least once. You should get a park hopper pass, then you dont have to stay an entire day - you can go right over to Epcot after checking it out. I know that if I were in that position I would go - just so I didnt have to regret not going!!
