Migraines only last for 2-3 days. If he has had this headache this long the disk problem has gotten worse and may have damaged or is putting pressure on the spinal cord which is causing pain in his head.
Get him to the ER now. This can be extremely serious. Forget about the insurance issue right now this can be critical to his ability to ever walk, work, or function. Go now or call 911 and have him taken to the nearest ER.
Go NOW!!!!

Yes, it could be related. Pinched nerves in the back can result in neck pain, headaches, and even when severe enough black outs. You need to see a chiropractor and ask if he can treat the back problem. X-rays will have to be taken, then back for a visit, but the cost is minimal. Back pain will also give leg pain and numbness too. Are there any other symptoms? Please get this checked out. Poor thing must hurt....

I get migraines alot, and finally went to the clinic.....try you local walk in clinic or a good family doctor, there may be an underlying issue....or they may be able to give you some sample pills that help eliminate the migraines when the start.
Good Luck!!! I know how irritating they can be :)

Take him to urgent care right now and get the headache checked out. Sounds like it is more than a migraine so he needs to see a doc ASAP. DO not let him drive in this condition in case something happens. Drive him to urgent care yourself or call 911

Need to see the doctor or other medical professional just to have this checked, it could be connected but it also could be a serious neurological issue which needs to be checked by a health professional ASAP.

Yes they might be! The central nervous system is connected to the spine. He has to be checked by a doctor.

Need to see a doc for a head scan at least. Migraines can be caused by lots of nasty stuff and need to see what's up there.

Take him to the ER/Doctor as soon as possible.
It might be something worse than a migraine.
