My oldest son took his first step at 9 months, but began walking at 11 months. My baby 6 months just began crawling this week. I think it depends on the child and if the child is overweight it makes a difference.

My baby walked at 9 months but didn't talk until 2 1/2. Of course we were current on all of our dr. visits so I knew that she was still meeting the minimum mile stones for language developement. What about the baby you know?

At 7 months my daughter was pulling to stand and was full on walking by 9 1/2 months. All kids develop differently, but if she is concerned, she should ask the pediatrician.

top round their first birthday, toddlers are many times walking. some start up before, 10 months, i have even heard of 8 or 9 months, and some are later to stroll, although the first birthday is a robust, well-known age.

Usually around a year, but some kids don't until later. If she was late crawling, she might be progressing at the correct intervals, but just delayed by a few months.

my son would leap meaning he wouldnt even be close to walking then all of a sudden at 13 months he was walking perfectly , he didnt talk didnt attempt to then all of a sudden he started talking using heaps of words and talking perfectly he is now 3 and we have been trying for 1 year to toilet train him, he is going to preschool so we were desperate for it to happen then a couple of weeks ago he just started going no accidents nothing since all kids are different and i have heard that girls take longer to master there motor skills and boys take longer to master there language skills
what people need to remember is nature doesnt have a timer when something is ready to happen it will but still a take to a professional couldnt hurt even if its just to ease there minds or help there child get underway

That is too late not to be standing and walking. Something might be wrong and she needs to visit her doctor.

Let the doctor worry about it. Nothing you can say will help the parents or the baby.
