i've already given the scots a victory against the georgians. so who will win scotland or italy? or will it be a draw?

FQ: will italy top the group? in recent matches the scots have won club and country matches at home vs france, lyon and celtic against milan.

it will be close game as usual:

so i think it will be:
Scotland vs Italy 1 - 0 or 2 - 1 or 1 - 1

Ukraine's not a great place to go, but IMO France will win their 2 remaining games meaning they have already Qualified

Scotland should beat Georgia & Italy will definately beat the Faroes, so means it will come down to this Game

On Paper you would say Italy, but ppl thought that with France both Home & Away, Scotland have shown they can beat anyone on their day & are always tough when at Home

It's close to call, but I think Scotland are good for a Draw, but I won't be putiing my Money on it.. LOL

If all of the above did take place Scotland would Top the Group!, due the the Head to Head with France as they would both have 28 Points!

Then the World Champions wouldn't be at the Euros !, who would have predicted it last Summer?!

Edit
Typical Scotland beat the Good Teams & Lose to the Small Teams, It'll be tougher now with them needing to beat Italy rather than a Win, but still not Impossible

Don't let the hubris win. As someone who just about remembers Argentina '78 and followed Scotland everywhere from the mid 80s to the mid 90s, I think your dismissal of Georgia is premature. Scotland has long had an unhealthy knack of looking beyond the "wee" teams before we've actually played them, and it's led to some pretty humbling results (the one that I recall most bitterly is Costa Rica at Italia '90).

Scotland can defeat Georgia, but it's far from a foregone conclusion. A draw would suit me fine. So long as we go into the Italy game with everything to play for I'll be happy for now.

I do, however, think McLeish and the players in the squad have a very focused, professional attitude that was often missing from previous Scotland teams. I believe we can do it, but don't take anything for granted.

P.S. McFadden is a genius.

I am seeing a draw. Scotland will play a very conservative game just needing the point to make the finals.

EDIT

Above was obviously before the game against Georgia. With France still having a tough game against the Ukraine, and Italy having a guaranteed three against Faroe Islands, Scotland has gone from advancing with a tie to needing a win. Italy now only needs a tie in this match to advance. Scotland has won all of its home matches in qualifying. With these stakes, I think Scotland pulls out a win with a goal in injury time (90+).

france and scotland the two play better video games this week. at the instant its 24 scotland, 23 italy & 22 france. after their easy suits vs georgia and lithuania for france, the gang could seem something like a million. scotland 27 (11 performed) 2. france 25 (11 performed) 3. italy 23 (10 performed) In november, italy will face scotland in a might desire to-win situation. i anticipate france to win so les bleus will land in with 28pts, and qualify in spite of what occurs with scotland and italy. if scots get a draw, italy are out. if italy win, the scots are out with france being at benefit over the two sitation. i think of the french would be below too plenty stress to no longer win vs ukraine. so italy might desire to win to have any possibility of qualification. the 11 suits being performed by skill of france and scotland in strengthen of italy make particular some project for italy and furnish an exceedingly confusing path of qualification different than except italy win. italy will now be on a might desire to-win situation, it is truly frightening with a coach like doomas.sdoni. i think of with a prefect lineup, scotland might desire to lose 2-0 at residing house to us. bottomline is WE might desire to WIN!!!! for the georgia tournament, we didnt seem very solid and struggled to discover the internet vs a touch week team. the experimentation might desire to end. the perfect lineup (beginning) might desire to be: ---toni--iaquinta/gila----- --------di natale------- DDR--pirlo/ambro-camoranesi -grosso-barz-canna-zambro--- the significant to beating scotland would be set products, as they are going to preserve no longer easy against attacking play. undergo in strategies, might desire to win or threat qualification. that's the place I relatively have little or no faith in donadoni.

@ Liv Fan, you didn't tell us who will be yellow carded, how many shots each team will have on target, what is the percentage of ball possession will be for the teams. And wow, Totti decides to return back to the national team and will score a goal against Scotland(latest news?)

Back to the question. Scotland will not be able to score a single goal against Italy, and Italy will win 1-0 or 2-0.
