i use a regular, simply because the electric has the removable head with moving parts, and all of the excess bacteria builds up and it stinks really really bad. You constantly have to replace the head, so the regular is cheaper and more practical. The electric toothbush is just a gimic set forth by the dental industry to get more money out of you.
