How come Schools Dont Celebrate Martin Luther King Day?

well atleast my school..they just have it off which is pathetic..i really hate school but..that day should be a school day so we can be able to learn about dis amazing leader and why he is honored

I agree. I think a better use for Martin Luther King Day is LEARNING about Martin Luther King (and major events in the civil rights movement), not sitting around playing video games.

Every school I can think of has this day off in celebration of the Man. What are you referring to?
