Dont be scared.. things happen.. but what your saying.. you might be.. but the Dr will tell for sure.. some people dont feel the baby till well into there 6th month.. i didnt know i was pregnant with my youngest till i was almost 6 months.. my boobs hurt.. back hurt... but peeing more then normal dont mean anything either.. you could have a UTI .. so just go to the doctor and let them tell you... you will be ok... things will work out..
Good Luck

Those home kits are generally quite accurate. Most likely you are not pregnant. It is a good thing you are going to a doctor to see what is going on. Five months pregnant and you might feel a little tiny movement, not like a noticeable big kick. That comes a bit later on.

Given your symptoms, pregnancy is a possibility, since those kits are not always accurate in any particular given individual. You may not be producing enough hormone to indicate a positive test. A blood test is more accurate.

Tell your doctor everything you have been experiencing. And I wish you the best of luck, whatever the outcome is. Don't be nervous, it will be OK. Trust me!

Just wondering how come it took 5 months to realize you hadn't had a period...even the less expensive pregnancy tests work well-they all test for the same hormone and if it's not there you will not get a positive result. The only other way you may get a (false) positive is if you are having an ectopic/tubal pregnancy or if you have a cyst at the time of the test.

Aside from pregnancy there are other reasons you might not get a period-if your percentage of body fat drops below a certain level or stress or some sort of trauma.

Good luck to you.

Wow, I freak out if my period is a week late! 5 months is a while to go with out a period! Even though the tests are negative, you could still be pregnant. I am happy you are going to the dr tomorrow because there definately could be something wrong with your body! And just because you aren't "showing" if you are pregnant, doesn't mean anything bad. I didn't start to show until I was almost 6 months old. Good luck though! I hope you don't have any serious health issues!

First of all if the test says negative - no good worrying about it until after your doctors visit.

Second - Most hospitals (in the OB ward) will give free, confidential pregnancy tests, if you feel like yours was to cheap to be accurate.

Third - everyone is different. Feeling a baby kick all depends on different things, like how much body fat the mother has, how far along the mother is, etc.

My best advice would be to go to the doctor. A missed period could be many things, especially to a teenage girl. It could be anything from Stress to Polly Cystic Ovarian Syndrome.

Yeah just see what the Dr. says. It sounds like you are pregnant. And it is a little late that you are acting concerned now about not having a period in 5 months. At 5 months I didn't feel any movement it depends on how big the baby is I guess.

You say that you've scheduled an appt for Thursday which is a good thing. Try not to panic and wait for the test result from your Dr. Truthfully, it does sound like you might be pregnant but in 2 days you'll know for sure.

It sounds like you have all the signs of being pregnant. True you should have felt something different or movement in your stomach. I wish you the best cuz that happened to me and I was pregnant but by the time I went to the doctor they told me I was gonna start aborting the baby I was 4 1/2 months pregnant. Hopefully not your case and you have a lazy baby like my son when I got pregnant with him I only felt movement at nite!

My trouble-free opinion is while you're no longer waiting for a toddler then dont have intercourse. yet once you quite wanna do or no longer this is sensible approximately it and use secure practices. there is mostly a gamble you may get pregnant if u dont use secure practices. What i could propose is circulate to a doctor. they are in a position to detect being pregnant could till now a house being pregnant attempt. I dont think of its quickly sufficient now however for something to tell.

I'm glad you're booked in to see a doctor - he/she will be the best person to give you advice. In the mean time, do the obvious - eat well, no drugs/alcohol/hair dye etc. Think about your options but try not to freak out too much because you don't know what you're facing until the doctor runs some tests.
