I might take my cat to the Vet.
I have taken my son's pet iguana
to theVet, when he devoured a bar of soap.
Boris is fine.
It was one of those little decorator soaps,
the ones that look like little shells.
The Vet gave him an injection
and told me it would make him poop,
and it did. Boy did it ever,
and the smell was so bad that,
one of my cats tried to cover him up
while he was in the litter box, doing his thing.

Someone might take a salamander to a Vet (but for the life of me I don't know who would waste the time with such a thing).

My dog Cheeko going tomorrow for drain removal and vet is checking on blood clot. He got attacked by a hungry chow and he's just a teeny chihuahua. People quit dropping your strays off in the country!

stable heavens, alcohol on an open wound? Do you torture your self like that? this may be a sebaceous cyst or a tumor. i might to have it clinically determined. Ask your vet for something to calm him till now you carry him in. try hydrogen peroxide to flush open wounds. that could be a lot much less caustic to the tissues.

Any animal that needs diagnosed/helped-however, your Q should also include-what animals will the vet go to them to treat them and as former farmers, we had them out for our cattle, hogs and when my 18 yr. old cat Bambi got terribly ill, he came out and put her to sleep as she hated the rare times I took her into his office.
They are under appreciated as they are so often bitten by the animals the try to help and I wrote to mine of my appreciation after he put B. to sleep and stayed with me awhile and was so caring and comforting.
