I have been asking the same question. It just looks more feminine I guess to have hairless legs and armpits. I personally hardly ever shave my legs because I awlays wear pants and my hair is sup blonde. But I always shave my armpits.

I don't know if I ever felt like it was an obligation, more so a preference. I'm part asian so don't really grow that much hair on my legs however I shave my legs and armpits when it needs to be done. The hippy look was just never sexy in my opinion, I like the idea that I eat healthy and exercise to have pretty skin so why hide it behind any fuzz. And it just feels so smooth and clean. I guess it depends on each persons perception some people think hair is hot so they don't shave (and start developing mini eco-systems in each pit :-P). And people like me think that walking around the beach in bikinis or short shorts/skirts is much more appealing when you dont resemble chewbacca.
And you'd be surprised how much body hair women actually have, we're just good at concealing and removing it.

i think extremely grimy if i do no longer shave. i think a lot greater acceptable and sparkling after shaving. Plus, adult adult males decide for it too they won't desire to be caressing stubble or something like that a super form of the time it relatively is a turn off. I shave for me and my boyfriend.

Body hair is simply not attractive on a female. Men prefer smooth, soft skin. Otherwise, we might feel like we're with a 'manish' woman.

i think women do it because it is not feminine. but for me i don't grow much under my arms and stuff, it takes almost a year for it to grow back so i don't feel obligated at all

The 'obligation' is in deference to male vision and, as to the'pits', olfaction.
