If 1000 is 1k and 5000 is 5k what is 1 billion. Seriously I would like to know.?

A billion is 1 Million K in the U.S. (1,000,000 k) . However, other countries use a different number system . For example, in Mexico a billion is 1 million x 1 million , instead of (1k) 1,000 x 1 million .
