Apparently, it's a miniscule amount of lead compared to the lead which is being drank (drunk, drunken?) in unfiltered water.
Sometimes I wear red lipstick, maybe I won't now at least until I forget about the lead.

really? i'm not surprised...
many products have elements in them that should have been stopped ages ago.
(like sulfides... )
but it's old school and cheaper (in the short run) and companies don't want to expend themselves more than they have to until all is stretched to the point of investigation because someone found something indescribable in their product, your spinach is covered in feces or your animal has died....
heh, the FDA.. OOOOH i'm so SCARED.... they're not doing their job either.

i saw this in the paper yesterday. only certain L'oreal lipsticks were mentioned. no other brands.
i don;t wear it anyway. i have to use blistex, and at times, lip gloss.

it's awful for those women who wear lipstick and God knows how many other cosmetics contain lead...i do not wear makeup, so i am not too worried...happy day:)
