Some programs do require work experience before you can be admitted to their MBA. This varies from school-to-school.
Some leadership or management experience will make the courses a little easier to handle, it always helps to be able to put your studies into perspective and this is especially true in an MBA program.
Graduating with an MBA and no work experience will make you far less marketable than those who do have relative experience.
