There are several things to think about.

Most manufacturers list weight ranges for each size within a particular model so check those when shopping for a new board. If your height and are proportional, you can follow the general rules of sizing, but you are pretty light so I would agree that you should be on a smaller than average board - the 135 makes sense for you.

Where do you like to ride? A shorter board will be easier to make quick turns in the park but won't ride as nice at higher speeds out on the runs.

How soft is the board that you are looking at? A softer board (very common in women's designs) won't hold an edge as well as a stiffer board. I would be careful about getting a shorter board if it is a really soft model. Most boards shorter than 135 will be very soft women's and kid's models - maybe you could look high performace small boards like K2 Mini-Zepplin

Before going to a shorter board, I would also demo a shorter board and see how you like it in the places that you ride the most.

Good Luck

If your skill level keeps progressing, you can keep riding smaller boards. I am 6’ male, 175 lbs and my biggest board is a 159, but my smallest board is a 131 Nidecker Nano board, which I love. I can do things on that board that I could never do on my bigger boards. Also there is a point where it can get too small though. I only ride my 131 in park and on groomers, because it doesn’t work well at all in powder. I work at a resort, and I suggest going to the Demo shop and trying a smaller board, ride it in powder, park, and on groomers

whatever pretty much feels good to you is wat u can ride. With a bigger board u get less control but more speed and vice versa with a smaller one. Id say you should probobly stick to that 135 as the smallest you can go because once you move to a bigger board you'll have a harder time adjusting to the difference if u go any smaller.

Your board should be between your chin and the top of your head. Start with a shorter board, the longer it is the faster you will go.
