I have tried to locate this particular "Arabesque" in midi format but it seems the only one that has it is this site. Is the composer Malcolm Arnold? Or is it by someone else since I can't find it on the Malcolm Arnold site, any help on the composer or song title would be greatly appreciated....

It appears to be "Arabesque" by Malcolm Arnold.

Musician, teacher.

This is something of a mystery. To my knowledge Malcolm Arnold (who was British, not American as that website claims) never wrote an 'Arabesque' and the music is definitely not in his style. Also, Arnold's Op 52 is a choral work, of which this mystery piece is not a part.

So, the piece is wrongly attributed. There is an Arabesque (Romance) by an obscure composer Harry E Arnold (not the Harry Arnold Swedish big band leader of the 1950s) which is Op 59 No 2 but I can find no further useful references to this person.

Hmmmm ....
