LSU will defeat Auburn. The defense is so powerful that quarterbacks run for their life. Look at the stats. When was a touchdown scored on LSU last? The LSU Tigers have plenty of depth in all key positions. All three of their quarterbacks would be starters in other schools. We'll get past Auburn. Troy Smith had better hope he doesn't have to play against them. I'm not taking anthing away from Auburn though. They are a good team. By the way, How many teams in the top ten are from the SEC? Think about it.

I'm an Auburn fan, so I'm going to be leaning towards them just a little. Here's my opinion of the game...
LSU and Auburn are one and two in the SEC in defense. However, Auburn is nowhere near LSU in offense. LSU blows them out of the water. Now, if you think about that, you could argue that LSU hasn't played a defensive team yet like Auburn.
If Auburn is able to slow down LSU's running game and make them rely on the pass, I think that it will be a very close game.
If Quentin Grooves comes back and is able to break the school record for sacks against LSU, then the defense of Auburn will be fired up and ready to play.
LSU may have the home field advantage...but remember the last three games between these two teams is only 8 points. It doesn't matter where they play...it's always a good game. It won't be a blow out. The winner of this game is very likely going to become the team from the SEC West in the SEC championship.
Also, let's hope that Tennessee puts it on Bama today to eliminate them from the running.

They beat my Florida Gators, but they're facing a tough LSU football team coming off a triple overtime loss to Kentucky. Plus they are playing in Death Valley. The LSU fans will be motivated to cheer on LSU football after the loss to Kentucky. Auburn lost Kenny Irons and he was a key player in their talent last year and Auburn losing to South Florida in week 2 is your proof to my statement on Kenny Irons. Auburn got off to rocky start in the season, but they managed to rebound by beating the Florida Gators on the game winning field goal. My prediction is Auburn keeps it close in the 1st half and then LSU goes wild on all cylinders as a football team in the 2nd half. PS if you want come join my website www.familylobby.com/ransomssportsandentertainmentforum I enjoyed talking to you about college football. Now I got a to do what a normal 16 year has to do go to bed and rest for school. I'll answer more questions tommorow at 3 pm

I don't think they really have a chance of beating LSU this weekend...the only chance they might have is covering the +12 spread. I'm sure LSU is pissed after losing a close one to Kentucky and now return to Death Valley for this game. Auburn just doesn't have the offensive weapons to keep up with that LSU blitz and the return of Early Doucett doesn't help their chances either....LSU is going to blow them out and prove to everyone that they're still the #1 team in the nation.

They do.
Auburn isn't afraid of LSU. They've beaten LSU several times in recent years, granted some of the talent from those teams is gone.
They have athletes, they (for the most part) know what LSU will come out and attempt to do.
If their offense can make a few plays and keep them in it, they could catch LSU napping.

well this is the SEC we're talking about. they have a good chance. Auburns D is really fast and physical. the team had a slow start, but they really turned it around. they look really hungry, they will give LSUs offence some problems. I'm just looking forward to a really great game!

Hah, its possible, but not if LSU brings their A game. And Death Valley should be just as wild as it was vs Florida, so look for that to be a factor. Coach Miles said that Early Doucet was continuing to practice and improve, so if he's better, look for a more fired up LSU offense. We just need to not make any mistakes and play our best football from here on out.

I think so, if Kentucky can beat LSU, then Auburn has a shot.
But they will be going up against a very angry LSU team so it will be a tough fight.

I would say Auburn has a better chance of beating LSU than Appalachian St beating Michigan and Stanford beating USC.

I am not really impressed with either offense, Both defenses are good, so I am guessing whoever makes the least misakes win. Since it is at LSU, I give them the edge.
