If USF beats Rutgers will they be saying "Watch Me Crank Dat Soulja Boy Then Super Man Dat Hoe" ? USF has a tough road ahead but if they win on the road again, do they finally get respect?

No. USF is in a must win position. Say USF wins, but barely, people say. "They are overrated drop them from the number 2 spot.

Say USF wins by a large spread. People will say, "Of course they should beat Rutgers by 30 points. They are number 2 in the polls."

Say Rutgers pulls the upset then people say, "I told you they were overrated." And USF would probably drop to 15 or 16 nationally.

Rutgers has been having an underwhelming year. They need this win to get back into the AP rankings and keep the Big East competitive. If Rutgers wants to go to a major bowl, as opposed to the International Bowl, they need to win tonight.

With this game USF can't silence critics, they can only make things worse.
All the pressure is on USF.

EDIT: Looks like Rutgers answered your question.

Probably Rutgers lost to Maryland at home that is what seperates USF from Rutgers. USF almost beat Rutgers on the road. Every year in the Big East there is a sleeper 2006 Rutgers 2007 South Florida 2008 Pittsburgh Panthers go Pitt wohoo.

Yea, I think the Bulls do get respect and will get plenty more if they beat Rutgers. Rutgers is a quality team (ranked about 35 on most polls) and any road game is usually tuff. Especially when it's a must win for Rutgers and a Thursday night nationally televised game.

Nope.

They probably won't get respect from most mainstream fans unless they run the table.
