Let's just say I am a "tad" over 40. My feeling if you are a virgin, then you should leave your pubic hair just as it is. I would wait until you are 18 or 19. Hopefully you will use protection. But lets say that you move on to other men. If after you have the "appearance" of being experienced, then shave. You always have the "out" well my last boyfriend wanted me to shave. And I grew to like it so just kept doing it! If it were not for your young age, I would not give this advise. But I feel a girl your age shaving sends the wrong message. Like you are "so experienced with men" that you shave. I may be wrong but that was my first impression.

Yes, if you think a man's stubble is sharp, try pubic hair... that stuff hurts. I'm fair about it though and I shave down there too, despite the obvious risk. I find that girls like it so I keep it that way. It's not that guys necessarily like the feel of a prepubescent girl, it's just that smooth skin is much more pleasant to the touch than rough, hairy skin.

I dont really like it all that much. Occasionally maybeits a nice change. But for the most part women have hair...and i like women. Children are hairless.....you get my point yuck. Sorry its just the way my brain works.
I honestly think so many women shaving is part of americas ploy to try to stay younger women hate being labeled as old and doing that retains some youth? Also alot more reasons but Bleh Simple answer is No.
EDIT to clarify i dont mind legs and armpits i actually prefer shaving those. But down there no not really.

I'm not a guy, but personally I think its a little weird if that turns a guy on. Does it mean they are into prepubescent girls? Also, with all of Hollywood showing off their "Brittney"s - completely shaved AND not wearing any underwear, I find it really is unsanitary. We have hair down there for a reason - protection! If you choose to shave, then underwear would be your next sign of defense! (I'm not saying you shouldn't groom that region!)

It depends. Some like it completely clean, some just like it trimmed and neat. Others don't like the "plucked chicken look", so it depends on the guy.
If you want, you could just bluntly ask your guy what his preference is. That way you don't have to go through too much fuss/pain for no reason.

That is so wrong. I mean, for girls, I think shaving your armpits is enough! Why should a guy tell a girl to shave down there? If some guy ever asked you to do that, tell him NO. Yuck...guys should be better than that. And thank goodness for some guys who answered No.

I prefer the shaved area, because it seems to be easier to clean. The hair holds moisture and lets smell occur faster.

I am no guy. But from what I heard, it's much better. It is never a turn off, but when there is hair it can be!
From what I know, it feels more comfortable, and better, if you know what I mean!

Depends on the guy, different ones like different things. Personally I like it trimmed neatly or shaved. If you like it, that is all that counts.
