I see target has christmas.

But I am looking for plane. like for a birthday.
Walmart does not seem to have them. neither does bed bath and beyond.

Any ideas where to get giftwrap sets?

This is a different approach, but it works for me and keeps things simple.

I buy only solid colors of giftwrap, and shiny metallics, and generic patterns that don't scream out any particular holiday. Then I get various colors of ribbons and bows. Then I just mix and match for any occasion. Every present looks festive, and different from the others, and no matter what, my packages suit the occasion and the person. I also keep a few sizes of bright colored gift bags, and some different colors of tissue paper, to add to the variety for those weird gifts that are hard to wrap.

I don't buy anything that has cartoon characters or anything overtly Christmas, or wedding or anniversary type paper. I also don't buy anything that is overly masculine or feminine. Just simple unisex bright colors and a couple of well chosen pastels that look good for anything. Of course white, black, and metallics are classy and festive for a lot of different occasions.

If you are into natural themed stuff, you can use brown mailing paper, or plain white butcher paper. For ribbons, you can try hemp cord, raffia, etc.

The good news is that the plainest and most non-descript is still widely available after Christmas at much lower prices. I get them at the dollar stores, and buy enough to get me through all the gift giving for the coming year.

Clear up the question.

Do you mean "plane" as in airplane? Or is your question about "plain" single color, no design paper with coordinating ribbon. Go to WalMart in the stationery (as in decorative writing paper) and the gift wrapping section MAY have plain paper and coordinating ribbon, but not in a box together. You'll have to pick out your own.

I haven't been in a Target store for awhile, but I'm willing to bet they too have a decorative paper section there in stationery and birthday cards area....far away from the seasonal wrapping paper display. And yet again, if you want plain, go down one step on the Target website and get the foil paper gift wrap.

Or are you looking for websites?

Also try a Hallmark store. Their paper is more expensive but it is thicker (usually) and higher quality.

You can always purchase single color wrapping tissue paper and add the ribbon of choice.

Yes Costco, only because it is christmas time it will be hard for you to find, not christmas style but at other times of the year they have it. Also Sams club might and one time I saw set at the 99 cent store but it was funky looking. Hope you find what you are looking for. Oh yeah try michaels to they have cute gift wrapping things too!
