It can be... if you're parting forever. Even I cried after my divorces.... for a minute! It can be sad, but you also have to remember ..... absence makes the heart go wander.... I mean grow fonder!

Parting can be a blessing if the relationship is one that you need to get out of. Don't stay longer than you know you should just because its comfortable or you fear being alone. And no, sometimes you never see the person again.
