I had a dream I was sleeping on a couch bed in my grandmothers basement with my wife. It was very late at night and it was nearly pitch black (which seems like an odd dream to have in itself). I am feeling stressed and nervous and feel that something is coming after me. I know it is a demon looking for me and in my dreaming mind I call it "the Mot". We both begin to drift off. I suddenly feel a strong presence and my wife tries to get my attention. I reach for my fan to turn it off and hear the demon breathing behind us. I then wake up from the sheer terror of the dream.
So today I google search "demon" and "Mot" and find it was the name of an ancient demon of death and the underworld. The results of the search showed very few references to the name "Mot" in movies and books. I am certain I have never heard the name before. I rarely have nightmares and am not religious. Coincidence? Theories? I wish I could explain more made but the limitations have made me edit a lot already.

M.O.T can spell Tom backwards, sometimes in dreams words and letters are reverse. Maybe you have an enemy by the name Tom or, someone who is a snake in the grass named Tom that is going to stab you in the back.

It means to watch your health. I had a dream the same to yours but it was of Angels and there was this angel after me it was a not so nice angel. This angels name was Azreal or something like that I forget now. but I knew the name then and I googled like you did and discovered this was the angel of death. Im like oh how nice. I dismissed it. Then I got really sick. I am better now. But I think that is what the dream meant. I was not taking care of my body like I should of and was under stress. So watch your health please.
