ive planning to buy laptop but i need to have internet signal even i am in very remote area/farm/mountain etc,

Yes,
Buy a sprint wireless access card. it works like a cell phone but gives you internet access instead. Visit sprints website to find out more.

Well to be quite honest, it works like this,If there is Internet Service Available in the area's you are concerned about then yes you can connect. Next If service is not available there is the option of using your CELL Phone.
Not all cell phone providers offer this service, and more importantly there phone must have a signal in the areas of concern.

We have a cabin that we visit a few weeks out of the year so dsl or cable is feasible, I have to use the dreaded dial up as we do have a phone there. It's pretty awful, no it's really awful to use dial up but at least I'm conected.
Those sprint cards generally cost a lot per month, whether you use it or not.
