Liberals don't value property rights, especially of those people with more wealth than themselves.
The money you earn is your property, and when Democrats want more of your money they are taking more of your property and freedom. Then they have the audacity to call you greedy because you want to keep the money you earn, while they want the government to extort money from you so the liberals can spend it on what they think is best for all of us.

Most of the justices that ruled this way are either moderately moderately liberal or far left. Kennedy may be viewed as in the center.

But I also view lose of property rights, through income taxes and social security. And it isn't liberal, it is just authoritarian.

Hopefully they'll wake up and smell the coffee before that happens. Although, it is slowly being introduced in the form of environmental conservation by leftist organizations.

A liberal does not want to lose property rights. Thus, change of stance will be made before it happens.

Give me one single piece of credible evidence (and no blogs aren't credible) about the left taking away property rights. Just one.
Edit: Given the current housing crisis and the loss of property for millions of Americans, it looks like the free market is taking away property rights for millions of Americans--not taxes.

Not sure you've got the right villian here...it was a conservative court in 2006 that ruled that "eminent domain" could be applied to force property owners to surrender their land if there was a more profitable commercial venture in Conneticut.

You know whats funny, i live in Texas and all they preach is cutting taxes, but what they do is cut income and sales tax and hike up property tax. I think that contradicts your argument, but that's just me.
