Most people don't know that Robert Kennedy was killed by a Christian Palestinian, because of his support for Israel. So, that was the first act of Middle Eastern terrorism in the US.

There have been many acts of terrorism (especially hijacking) since the 1960s which involved Americans, though they did not specifically target Americans. The taking of hostages by the Iranians during the Carter administration is the first act of muslim terrorism directed specifically at Americans that I can think of.

Good point. Was 9/11 "Islamic"?

Or was it perpretrated by people claiming Islam as a justification.

Also, what do you mean by US? The "homeland". As far as international law goes, US embassies are considered US territory. (I'm not a lawyer, I wouldn't swear to this 100%).

The entired question sounds a little suspicious. You're not George Bush fishing the internet for a reason for bombing Iran are you? Is VP cheney not avaiable to answer your questions?
