Is being a mistress a bonus? what do you get out of it..

the wishful thinking that a man will leave his wife 4 u!!
1 day women will wake up and realize that the married man their w/ is NOT gonna leave his wife 4 a whore!!

The whole point of Question's and Answer's is having a place we can come and vent our problems , ask for help and take on board the advice given and be able to process the BS from the real people wanting to help the situation , while not all Question'ers actually heed the advice after processing it and use it to make their live's less stressful and more comfortable / manageable a lot of people do actually move on after the advice is given.
When I give advice it's usually based on a double sided coin , I tend to give the side where the problem is real and does need tending to and advise moving on and giving yourself time to mourn the loss of a marriage or a loved 1 and then taking up some hobbies like art classes or theatre group's , what ever is needed to rebuild the self esteem and the inner soul.
On the other side of the coin I give the negative , where I dont totally believe 100% that the question is actually viable or true and honest , like when someone just gets bored and basically writes a question that sounds like something out of a story they read some where.
For this question I am afraid even though it may get me many thumbs down , I feel that this question is not real.

Umm NO!!!! Why would you even want to be a Mistress?? I mean if you start to like the guy, he probablly doesn't like you he's just wanting some a$$ and if he had to pick between you and his wife most pick their wives. Also you must not have any self esteem, or you wouldn't want to basically be a piece, you wouldn't have any future for you guys. You'd be hurting his wife, kids, and yourself. What you'd get from me would be a major a$$ beating if I found out you were my husbands mistress. I don't share my man, and if he went straying I'd beat him and the other woman!!!

You get all the best parts of the relationship. No fighting, contrary to belief you can go out into public, none of the things that make marriage a drag... You also are alone when you need someone to be there. It is one sided as you may not be able to call on the person you are involved with. It may seem like it is the way to go, but it can be painful, lonely, frustrating. I have a very good Friend who has been in an extramarital affair for years with the same guy, both are married. He is off on a 3 week long holiday on a tropical island...with the wife...need I say more. Affairs are far more prevalent than we would like to think, my personal belief is that marriage is a losing proposition to begin with. There are a lot of people who are going to get all "holier than thou" on you, like whoar, why is the woman the whoar and his wife will take him back? Gonna beat up the mistress, take back the husband who pursued the mistress and still be the same person which chased him into others arms for the things not gotten at home. Could be anything from a morning bj to complete ice queen behavior. People are driven and or chased away for a reason...

Well if you my husbands mistress you would probably get your face busted up and a few broken bones...that would also be your bonus!

He very rarely spends the nights with you. You can never call him. He spends no holidays with you. You can't go out in public. You don't get to meet any of his friends or family. Does that sound fun. You are destroying the life of people that you don't even know. Have more respect for yourself and get a man who you can call yours.

You end up being used, lied to, and dumped for the wife. Don't injure a marriage by being a guys mid life crisis play thing. It's not worth it.

Probably a STD if anything. You need to get some morals and respect for yourself. Find a single guy that way you have all his attention, all the money can be spent on you etc.
