I told her that she would have a pretty good shot at it. :-)

I worked at Disney World, and she definitely has the face. But it just isn't about the face when it comes to being a face character. She needs to study Jasmine's movement and vocal characteristics as well. She has to be able to completely embody the character. She also has to meet the body type and height requirement. Jasmine in Florida was usually 5'5" or shorter. Of course that was a long time ago and those heights may have changed since then.

Not to mention the fact that just because she wants to audition for a face role doesn't mean she will strictly be a Face character. She needs to be prepared to also be trained as a costume character. Most face characters at Disney rotate between doing face and fur.

She definitely needs to go for it though.

Well, I worked at Disneyland. I wonder what exactly she is trying out for, stage show, dancer or character meet and greet. Disney has some pretty strict guidelines for their characters. For example, Alice needs to be 5 foot two or less, have an oval face, blue or green eyes, and of course, the ability to "do" the dialect well. You also have to be 18 or older. (Funny for a little girl character)

I think just going for it would be a good idea. Every audition is a learning experience. Your cousin is a very pretty girl, but you never know what specifications that character may have to fulfill, you know?

Good luck.
