Math has always been a rough subject for me. I flunked out of my Math class during the middle of last year. For the last two semesters, I did very well in the Intermediate Algebra class they put me in, and got a 92 on the final. This year (I am a Junior in high school) I am struggling in Advanced Algebra & Trig (may be in the low 70's, high 60's) It's only October so I will try my best to turn it around. Anyway, I am obsessed with science and I do well in it, (High 80's-Mid 90's). If I do badly-mediocre at math for the rest of high school, are my chances of being accepted to a science school drastically decreased? It's rather upsetting that I love science so much, and that I just suck at math.

Not neccissarily, you can always shoot for sciences that don't require a lot of math, like geology. Astronomy is going to be the one that really will give you some problems if you are not math based like myself.

When you study almost any science degree, you're going to be required to take some classes in math. With good reason, because math comes up in the sciences all the time, either to describe the phenomena you are studying (such as in chemistry or physics) or to draw conclusions from your research (like with statistics). Don't give up on science, though! Personally I'm not sure that a score in the 70s is exactly struggling. But anyway, you can get help in math. I recommend Sylvan Learning Center; they have an excellent math curriculum. Since math concepts build on each other, you can sometimes struggle in math if you just didn't get one thing in the past. But when you get that one thing, you can easily catch up.

Well, just try really hard in science and get a better mark for that, then maths will be used as your lowest subject which only counts as half marks for your TER.
