Yes, Gore and Carter have really sacrificed a lot to earn those awards, didn't they?
Last time I checked, both of them were making a pretty comfortable living (multi-millionaires) by building a few houses or showing movies of drowned polar bears.
And I'm supposed to be impressed that a bunch of sycopantic voters gave them a Peace Prize? I will say that Carter is somewhat deserved, given his Israeli/Egyptian efforts. At least that has something to do with peace.
Gore's award was a crock of %$#. If the Nobel community wants to give him a prize in some other endeavor, that's their business. But a Peace Prize for a crappy documentary and some speeches??

Thankfully none considerig they have gone to people like 'worst president last century' carter and 'terror leader' Yasir Arafat. The Nobel Peace prize isn't worth all of the hype!

I believe on tomorrows show he will revel he has already won 12 Nobel Peace Prizes and that award Al Gore won was a "Phony Nobel Peace Prize"

With the current people running the committee, no conservative will ever win the prize. Carter and Gore did nothing i can think of to advance the cause of world peace. Of course I notice you left out Arafat and Gorbachov. 2 more that got something they didn't truly deserve.

I wonder how Al Gore has improved world peace by frightening grade schoolers into thinking the world is ending with a politically partisan movie that was ruled to contain least 9 factual errors (i.e. lies)? Or what has Yassir Arafat done other than kill Jews? I guess that qualifies as peace to the 4 idiots in Norway.

First off, exatcly how do you know MLK was a liberal in the sense he voted Democrat. Just because you want more civil rights doesn't mean you are a liberal. Second we know how much Carter did for us (recession, Iran, oil shortage). He did a great job. And but of course Gore has helped us so much.
