PLZ HELP ME! I DONT GET THIS!!! Im Only in 7th grade!

10 to the 5th power is equal to 100,000 so
1,000,000 times 7.234 = 723,400

10 to 2nd power is 100
10 to 3rd power is 1,000
10 to 4th power is 10,000
10 to 5th power is 100,000

you move the decimal ten places to the left
from scientific form to standard form

so times 10 its 72.34 to the 5th power its 7234000 i think.. (for powers its just like multiplying by ten so move the decimal to the right however many it says or negative powers do the oppisite.. move to the left)

its 723,400 im a college tutor so i know it right. all you have to do is move the decimal point to the right however many places the exponent number is.
