10 year old boy (I'm describing my nephew):
VIDEO GAMES!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
acts weird, tries anything to get everybody's attention, no respect for anything, is easily hurt but doesn't want to admit to it.
MUD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PAINTBALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
PAINT!!!!! ON THE BABYSITTER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
10 year old girl:
EEEWWWW BOYS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
wants to know everything, but claims to know everything
WHY CANT I???????????????

refers to hanging out as playing.
annoying to siblings
stuffs their bras (gross, but true....)

Don't turn the TV off when they ask
Don't get off the computer when they're told to
Don't get off the phone
Don't put away their when they come in the door
Don't close the door, leave it open like they live in a barn
Don't clean their room and don't help with their laundry
Do talk back
Do say NO a lot
Do argue
Do make a mess
Do think they know everything
Do watch too much TV

I would know Im 12 and have a 10 year old sister with me.
1.Play truth or dare
2.Soccer/basketball etc.
3.Begin to like having responbitlies in life
4.Dance and Sing
5.Begin to like boy/girls and want to go on dates
6.Start becoming more inadependent(going to sleepovers etc.)
7.Hanging out with friends more oftend
8.Begin to have other friends because of personality changes
9.Start devloping a sense of there own seld(Liking serten clothes and facial image)
10.Sadly for girls, they begin wearing make up, for guys HELLO BOXERS!

They are still very affectionate with their parents.
They like to pick out their own clothes.
They enjoy helping in the kitchen with cooking.
They are at an age where they are good helpers with small children.
They like to earn money to spend on things they want.
They are at the age where they read really good.
